We designed our “Texas Water Drop” Imperial hats, as a way to raise awareness about child drowning in Texas. According to Collin’s Hope, a Texas based drowning prevention non-profit,  “the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services tracks fatal drownings of children, age 17 and younger, in Texas. In 2022 there were at least 76 fatal child drownings. So far this year, Texas has lost at least 11 children to fatal drowning.” (Collin’s Hope).  A portion of the proceeds of this hat will go towards our community wide drowning prevention efforts.
